Dr Peter Van Maarseveen is a highly respected and award-winning General Practitioner with decades of experience and a truly global medical journey.

Originally trained as a general surgeon in the Netherlands in 1985, Dr Van Maarseveen has since worked across South Africa, Botswana, the UK, and Australia—bringing a wealth of international expertise to his practice.

Since settling in regional Western Australia in 2011, Dr Van Maarseveen has become known for his patient-centred approach and dedication to community care. He was named WA’s GP of the Year (2019) in recognition of his outstanding service and commitment to rural medicine.

Dr Peter has special interests in Minor procedures and Aftercare, Women’s health, Men’s health, Chronic Disease Management, Preventative care, Senior’s health services, Child health & Immunisation and Aboriginal Health and Welfare.
